Hitchens lambasts the fat man. Priceless.

Hell yes.

In fact, Jerry Falwell himself stated that he deliberately and salaciously provoked at any given opportunity.

"Thank God" for Hitchens. Even if another whole generation of Christian Fundamentalists are being raised under our feet, the fact that people like Hitchen speak and speak freely can only be a good thing.

Agreed, though I don't agree with Hitchens on everything. He made an error by saying he wished there was a hell for falwell. Hell is immoral were it to exist and non-theists can use this fact as ammo, but to wish anyone to eternity of torture for anything is immoral.

Hitchens is the third musketeer of our great orators- Dawkins, Harris, Hitchens. His bombast takes the heat off of Harris, and that is precisely what Hitchens is doing purposely. By being more confrontational he is raising the bar and making Harris and Dawkins more palatable and kind in comparison. Good strategy. People can't get enough of this changing zeitgeist. There are more people who are sick and tired of religion than have let themselves be heard.
