Bush isn't evil. His cronies are. Surround this idiot with better people and you'd be singing his praises. He's a puppet, Rove saw an everyman and went with it. He appeals to the american public the same way Archie bunker did.
Bush was put up like the actor Reagan was- a spokesmen, a figurehead. Difference is he has no verbal skills or charisma.
