President Elect Barack Hussein Obama

I have wanted to write that headline for months. President-elect Barack Obama! Integrity returns to the White House!

You do realize, do you not, that Barack Hussein Obama was endorsed by Hamas:

Let us further consider the political implications of anti-gay Islamic terrorist President-elect, Hamas party endorsee, Barack "Saddam" Hussein "Osama" Yo Mama Obama.

President-elect "Barry" Saddam Hussein Osama Yo Mama Obama believes that marriage should be between a male and a female. Therefore, were he a Californian, he would vote in favor of Proposition 8, which would overturn gay marriage in California.

As one writer said:

"I voted no, but it looks like it's going to pass. Ironically, we have a proposition (#2) that gives extended rights to chickens, and it's passing. Chickens are advancing while gays are being put in their place."

They certainly are!!

That will certainly teach the homosexuals who the boss is.

The Mohammadan Apocalypse is upon us.

Yes another example of Republican ignorance; and, most importantly, why Democrats need to pursue Republican malfeasance in the months to come. Republicans & their voters have zero interest in bipartisanship.

The era of using manufactured talk radio talking points to win elections is over. It no longer works. Good riddance. They will have to come up with a new game plan to compete next time because the old us versus them, "real America" bullshit is obsolete.

My only hope is that the social conservatives can crawl back into their grimy little holes where they belong and whisper in their dark echochambers amidst their fellow cult members, leaving the rest of the world free from their insanity.

Fox news looks like someone poisoned their coffee. Hannity and Colmes should receive record ratings tonight as millions of viewers just want to watch Hannity froth at the mouth.

Usher in the era of Fox and talk radio doing their best to sabotage the Obama presidency, hoping against hope that he wrecks America, striving their best to paint him as a failure.

I watched the election count in my parents living room and they were rapt as they listened to Obama's acceptance speech. They were easily sold to unite behind Obama. My dad, a lifelong republican, was undecided until the day he mailed his ballot. I never asked him who he chose. We discussed a few issues- healthcare, defense, taxes. He gave me the ancient republican lines about taxes but when I explained how badly everyone is getting ripped off due to the policies set up by republicans he was resigned to agree.

As they cut to "dancing with the stars" I went to the other room to keep watching the election. I never revealed to them how excited I was about what I was seeing. But the excitement of the event was contagious. After dancing with the stars we cut back to watch the speech. Jesse Jackson was crying, and I wasn't sure if it was out of gladness or sadness to see his career ended as an inspiring force for racial divisiveness.

My lifelong friend I spoke about in my other post who made the racial comment (who shares my DNA actually) stumbled in half drunk, worried that an Obama presidency would deter him from his gold prospecting rights. He watched at 6:30 pm pacific time as Obama began winning important battleground states, and turned to me with a glassy eyed limp faced expression with a mouthful of guacamole "I should go vote... haw?" a "dude" at the end of the sentence would have fit perfectly.

My brother and I have a strange relationship. I would never speak to the man again were he not my brother. I am forced to see him occasionally when I visit my parents. He is the kind of guy who will take the shirt off his back for you right before he blames you for all his problems. I am glad he did not vote.

We all agreed that the problems Obama has to face give him the potential to be one of the greatest presidents ever, if he can meet the challenge and squelch the stench of the rank republican halitosis and cultural conservative hysteria that has sent this country spinning towards the drain.

Youtube: An Obama supporter known by the media as “Peggy the moocher,” said:
“Because I never thought this day would ever happen. I won't have to worry about putting gas in my car. I won't have to worry about paying my mortgage. You know. If I help [Obama], he's gonna help me."

Millions who voted actually believe our messiah and his new federal govt. is going to tuck them in every night and make all their problems go away.
JFK had it wrong, and should have said ”Ask not what you can do for your country, but what your country can do for you. It seems Obama not only managed to say it but convinced millions to believe it.

My only guess of concern is how long it’s going to take until the balloons of such fiery hope start popping one by one as his mealy-mouthed promises vanish like smoke. Maybe that explains why the crowd at his acceptance speech looked so puzzled when he said how we will all have to make sacrifices during his reign. Hey! What about my free gas and free house and free healthcare and free college and……?

And no sooner than Obama snuck his first post-victory cigarette, Russia was already shooting across our bow. Only hours after the election, Medvedev demanded Obama go to THEM and improve our relations/détente. They know Obama’s a creampuff and are already calling him out. Also at the gate are China, Iran, N.Korea, Al Queda, and others who will unfortunately have to wait in line to address our messiah as he will be quite busy fulfilling the wish lists of so many anxious zealots who are waiting for gumdrops to fall from the sky as they consume twinkies by the light of their new govt. issue plasma tv.

One good thing about this election: it’s finally over. Now we can start picking up the pieces and figure out what to do. The 2010 midterm election will be quite pivotal should monkeys fail to fly out of Obama’s ass, as 57 million voters did NOT vote for the most inexperienced and untried presidential candidate in U.S. history. And we’re not going anywhere}:-

Duh the only reason AlQueda endorsed McCain was because it backfired on them when they endorsed Kerry. Check your facts.

Aaron said...

No, they endorsed McCain because aggression in the mideast is the best recruitment tool AQ has.

I am reading the responses by republicans after the internet articles and blogs and I see a very common trend.

Many republicans are saying that the party has become a sequestered southern phenomenon and that they must divorce themselves from cultural conservatives to reharness the votes they lost from independents and moderate republicans.

One can only hope that the republican party can prune itself of the disease of cultural conservatism that has wrapped around it like a parasitic growth. It was a good strategy to unite the religious with the wealthy into a powerful voting bloc.

But it no longer flies. Without being able to win minorites (who will soon outnumber whites), women, and coastal cities ( whose suburbs are continually growing), the cultural conservatives are doomed.

My evangelical coworker said she cried last night watching the results. She knows the writing is on the wall.

If the republican party every divorces itself from the cultural conservatives they will return to respectability.

Funny, cause the CIA concluded that the endorsement was for Bush/Cheney. But then you're so much smarter than the CIA. Go check your *own* facts Dinkleberry.

Aaron, Are you serious ??!???!!! Are you talking about S.A.? That is just truly pathetic on so many levels....

No, it wasn't S.A. it was H.G.

Have been listening to interviews with various Conservamentalist Republicans. It seems they have no intention of letting the Republicans move away from cultural conservatism. They are probably right not to.

Turns out, the votes of blacks and hispanics helped push prop 8 over the top. Proving, with supreme irony but with little suprise, that whites don't have a monopoly on bigotry; and that, given the chance, no matter how oppressed & discriminated against a group of people may be, they will *never* pass up the chance to oppress and discriminate.

And it proves, with finality, that the racists are wrong. All races are equal, which is to say, equally capable of racism, bigotry and discrimination.

Once cultural conservatives get hip to this tidy little fact, they will swing back into power. They only have to learn to court racism, prejudice and bigotry in minorities. The oppressed will jump at the chance oppress in their turn.

But what could unite them?

Wait... it's coming to me... how about Christianity?

Aaron said...

We have to remember the power of the black church. Gay marriage is only a religious issue to those who see it as an issue at all.

The conservamentalists are already prepping their talking points to jump on Obama for the slightest thing. They have already begun blaming him for world events 48 hours after winning the election.

I think it might backfire though, since Obama has managed to unite a large chunk of the people that have voted against him- all but the 25% of the country who are far right (same people who give Bush a positive approval rating).

71% blacks voted FOR prop 8

Then it must be obviously that only hate filled liberals have
access to CIA inside information, huh? That's amazing! Oops. That's just a link to yet another mindless blog. Nevermind.

And calling those people who disagree with you "Dinkleberry" is far too low to comprehend. I'll never get over such an insult, and am outlining my suicide note even now. How COULD you!?!?

It can tell it really irritates you being wrong again and again and again, but what are you gonna' do? Take it up with the CIA...

//And calling those people who disagree with you "Dinkleberry"//

Just for the record... I don't call you Dinkleberry because I disagree with you, I call you that because you're such an air-head.

"the CIA concluded that the endorsement was for Bush/Cheney. But then you're so much smarter than the CIA. Go check your *own* facts Dinkleberry."

You must've read that from a CIA
press release, right? Oops, looks like those don't exist. Sorry. Let's see, if I were an AlQueda leasder choosing the next U.S. prez, would I want a tried and true warrior who has already proved w/o doubt that he will bomb the living crap out of our enemies, or would I want a creampuff with no military experience whatsoever and who opposed the Iraq war from the beginning? I guess only the CIA could answer such a complicated question, and such a concept is FAR above a Nam-era veteran airhead such as myself.

"I can tell it really irritates you being wrong again and again and again"

No, what irritates me is that somehow all the books I read are 100% wrong, and all the books you read are 100% factual, which is a conclusion you have reached based only on arrogance. Get OVER yourself, and try to comprehend the fact that those who disagree with your views are not 'always wrong' simply because you say so. Referring me to other radical blogs in order to substatiate your often jaded claims only weakens your position. Saying I'm "wrong again and again" is merely another swing in the dark, and is similar to name calling; another sign of intellectual weakness.

Wrong. MONEY is their best tool. They find poor kids (no shortage) dress them, feed them, and brainwash them in a Madras, then arm them while promising them a path to glory with Allah and honor for their families.

You two need to check out both sides of the story. All you do is slurp up any radical left blog-slop you can find and puke it back out. One of the reasons I read here is because I want to know what BOTH sides think, and you two are such perfect examples of the radical left!

Wow, you still refer to mainstream opinion as "radical left". This tells me you either get all your views straight from talk radio, you live in a cave, or you are in deep denial.

You think the majority of the country is now "radical left". Interesting. I am just wondering how you can continue to blame everyone who disagrees with the latest made-up talk-radio conspiracy as being a "radical liberal".

newsflash dude, the country voted for Obama because they agree with him on Iraq, Green Energy, Health Care, and Economy.

And guess what? For years the right wing talkies have been making fun of people who care about the environment, think Iraq was a mistake, want healthcare to seriously change, and don't believe in this faith-based trickle down economics.

The majority of the country has rejected talk radio talking points in two consecutive elections.

Don't give me this "far left" bullshit anymore.

Over the weekend President-elect Barack Obama scrubbed Change.gov, his transition Web site, deleting most of what had been a massive agenda copied directly from his campaign Web site.

Gone are the promises on how an Obama administration would handle 25 different agenda items - everything from Iraq and immigration to taxes and urban policy - all items laid out on his campaign Web site, www.BarackObama.com.

Instead, the official agenda on Change.gov has been boiled down to one vague paragraph proclaiming a plan “to revive the economy, to fix our health care, education, and social security systems, to define a clear path to energy independence, to end the war in Iraq responsibly and finish our mission in Afghanistan, and to work with our allies to prevent Iran from developing a nuclear weapon, among many other domestic and foreign policy objectives.”

“We are currently retooling the Web site,” said Obama spokesman Nick Shapiro.

The site went active on Wednesday and was available to the public Thursday. The agenda items, which were active for at least part of the weekend, appear to have been deleted by late Saturday.

I never said that the books you read are "100%" wrong, only that *you* have been wrong again and again.

//and all the books you read are 100% factual//

Nope. Never claimed that either.

//Get OVER yourself, and try to comprehend the fact that those who disagree with your views are not 'always wrong' simply because you say so.//

You're not wrong because I say so. You're wrong because you can't get your facts straight.

//Referring me to other radical blogs in order to substatiate your often jaded claims//

Hypocrite. Last I checked, you referenced an article from "The American Thinker" - a right wing blog with no pretense toward fairness or balance.

//Saying I'm "wrong again and again" is merely another swing in the dark//

Sort of like when you claimed Saddam used biological weapons against the Kurds? I noticed you tucked tail and ran for the hills rather than admit you were wrong. I suspect you'll run away again once your done making a fool of yourself. Then, I give it two or three months, and you'll be back. By the way, did I mention that the CIA disagrees with you. They concluded that Al Qaeda was, in fact, endorsing Bush. Now go run away before you embarrass yourself some more.

//name calling; another sign of intellectual weakness.//

You're a dolt.
