This is a sounding board and open forum run by a secular humanist and a nihilist pretending to be a secular humanist. The primary focus is on the pursuit of meaning, the observation of the absurd, and most importantly of all- comedy.

LOL! A Picture is worth 10,000 words :). Do you think anybody is serious about global warming? What will we wear in 10 years!! Woo Hoo. :)
Please share this global warming link (and take the survey!) http://www.squidoo.com/carbonneutral/
Hi Marc,
I don't think very many people are "serious" about global warming -- about the same percentage as openly gay people (not meant as an insult). They only get serious when the pocket book is involved, and there just hasn't been any real hit from global warming. If it's not a bill in their mailbox, or a new tax, nobody cares. Reefs in Austrialia? Who cares...
Besides, as you can see, there *are* some perks with global warming! I took the survey. I'm in the minority. I haven't tried to reduce carbon emissions. I would like to but, trouble is, it takes money to buy fuel efficient cars (which don't really exist anyway), efficient houses, organic food. Being green is an expensive hobby.
